Screw piles can be installed through frost and in locations of soft soil or high ground water where concrete piles are not practical. In addition, they can also be installed on steep slopes, in areas with low headroom, and in areas that are not easily accessed. Screw piles are manufactured in-house and specifically engineered for the job.
Throughout the installation, process torque is monitored. This is done to verify that the piles are installed in the type of soil and conditions that were anticipated. Where minimum installation torque is not achieved, the Drill Rite team will reassess the installation to determine if additional depth is required.
